Reesa comes from a family where all the women are crafters! Her grandmother helped her sew a quilt by hand for hery doll at age 6; she learned to knit and sew in home ec at school and made most of her own clothes as a teen; she learned to crochet from her mother (at the perfect time for all those ponchos and shawls, scarves and hats in the 1970's!); she started making beaded jewelry in her early 20s and is 51 now so you can see she has had a LOT of experience! The creative expression in making things makes her happy!

I MOVED!!!!

OMG, I have been so not with it lately. I have moved closer to my family and work. It is a nice 4 bedroom house that costs way to darn much for rent. So I have neglected my blog. I was supposed to be posting a new store every week and well I went back to work and I forgot all about it. ETSYFRIENDS please forgive me. I will get right on this ASAP.

Melissa has only started her love of crafting as of September 2007 and is constantly trying out new ideas to see what other crafts she might love to make!! The candles were a huge investment both with time and money and even though she was very frustrated with them at first she has grown to enjoy making them and they seem to be the biggest hit in her shop at the moment : ) She is learning to sew and may add some sewn items to her shop in the future! Melissa also has scrapbook pages available in her shop.

Melissa lives in St.Petersburg, Florida with her husband and their three babies (dachshunds) Hershey, Bandit, & Sassafrass!
