Well Billy is headed back to Florida

We sent Billy back to Florida today so I thought I better let y'all know how the rest of the week went.

Friday and Saturday were spent crafting. We sewed and sewed and sewed some more to get ready for an Artisan Market on Sunday.

Sunday we packed everything up and headed on down to the market. You get two 8 foot booths for $10 so we set one up just for Billy.

By the way the displays for the hair accessories and the business cards were made by SoSoRosey. I will be visiting this particular Market often. It is every Sunday in Grand Rapids, MI

Wednesday July 30 & Thursday July 31 with Billy McDollar

Wednesday was a lazy day. We went to JoAnn Fabrics and Walmart today. I saw some geese at Walmart. That was fun.

Thursday we went to Grand Haven for the Coast Guard Festival. That was a hoot. First Pete fell and sprained his ankle but he wouldn't let us leave. He said we came all this way to do this so we are gonna do it. He is one tuff cookie. I watched April go on some pretty scary rides and then she took me on the merry-go-round.

Then we went to see the Coast Guard ships.

There were three of them but we only went up on one of them. Can you believe how high up we were? Pete was sitting down on the corner by the water. Look close you can barely see him.

Then I got a BIG surprise, I got to get my picture taken with the CAPTAIN!!!! Holy crow man. Oh yea April was there too.

More to come.....

Tuesday with Billy

Well, we started out our day with plans of going North to the Shrine of the Pines But for some goofy reason they are closed on Tuesday's. It is a very cool place to go just don't go on Tuesday.

So we decided to back track just a little and we went to the Pere Marquette boat launch and see what we could see.

Billy was watching my oldest son Chris goof off in the water.

Chris talked him into getting in. OMG Chris don't drop him he can't swim!!!!!!
And Billy safely on the rocks.

Then we decided to visit my Grandmother in Baldwin. A long time ago the area that she lives in was called Arrowhead Village. I don't think they call it that anymore cause now all of the streets have names instead of numbers. Anyway this is at the private lake for Village Members Only. We did stop and see grandma too but no pictures.

Before we left Baldwin, MI we had to stop for the World's Best Ice Cream. Jones Ice cream parlor has been around for ever. Well since 1942 anyway. the stupid tree was in the way.

As we were heading back home we saw these awesome wood carvings. The first one is a 2 headed dragon and the other is a beaver. LOL the name of the company was Beaver Tree Services. That is some very impressive work. Well we got home and just relaxed for the rest of the evening.
